Peoples, Cultures and Careers #3 - No means next: Reject, Revise, and Resubmit!
This panel discussion will explore coping strategies and share a mix of rejection stories, including both challenging experiences and positive outcomes. The purpose is to normalize rejection and help faculty and graduate students understand that it’s a common experience for everyone, even among highly successful researchers. Rather than focusing on the negatives, the discussion aims to acknowledge rejection as a natural and essential part of academic life. By addressing personal rejection experiences, this event aims to support our research community through the ups and downs they may encounter.
