2026 3MT People's Choice Winner- Ms Nur Marina Chan Shi Min Alif Abdullah
Ms Marina Chan was the People’s Choice Award winner of James Cook University in Singapore's 2026 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Her presentation 'It's Never That Simple: Unravelling the Complexity Behind Fish Parasite Surveillance’ highlighted that while parasite surveillance begins with a simple question about what parasites are present, characterising ectoparasites of marine farmed fish is far from simple. By navigating the challenges of parasite identification and monitoring, her research aims to build the foundation for improved disease surveillance and more informed parasite management in aquaculture.#JCUSingapore #ThreeMinuteThesis #3MT #researchConnect with James Cook University, Singapore:
