This presentation explores how data can be transformed into actionable decisions to enhance system performance and resilience. Drawing on recent research, Dr Lijuan Shen demonstrates how system behaviour and disruptions can be better understood, anticipated, and managed. Through real-world examples, the session illustrates how data-driven approaches support earlier intervention, effective planning, faster recovery, and adaptive responses under uncertainty, enabling organisations to move from reactive operations to proactive and resilient decision-making.
