However, in recent years, many have also been involved in political stances and pro-social or pro-environmental actions. Given today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world, it is important to look into the power such influencers hold. Assistant Professor Ong Yi Xuan (Lecturer at Research Faculty of Media and Communication, Hokkaido University) discusses how organisations can build on influencers’ power to build future resilience and recovery in such a world.
